Feature Request: Allow High Reasoning Effort as the Default for New Chats

I would like to request an option that allows eligible ChatGPT users to choose their preferred default reasoning effort for all new chats.

Currently, new chats start with Instant reasoning effort. While Instant is useful when speed is the priority, some users prefer more careful reasoning and are willing to wait longer for responses.

Please add a setting such as:
Default reasoning effort: Instant / Medium / High

Users could still change the reasoning effort for individual conversations whenever needed.
This would allow users who prioritize deeper reasoning over response speed to make High their personal default, while preserving Instant for users who prefer faster responses.
