I love ChatGPT and would like to upgrade to Pro/Plus, but I’d really like an option to share the subscription with my spouse (or household). Right now, individual subscriptions at $20/user/month are too costly for families.
A family plan or shared household subscription would make ChatGPT more accessible for couples and families who want to use it together. Many other subscription services (Spotify, YouTube, etc.) offer family plans, and I believe this would be a popular option for your users too.
Please consider adding this feature — I would subscribe immediately if it were available!
I second this, it’s the only reason I haven’t bought pro yet. We currently have a Google One subscription that gives us both access to Gemini Pro. If ChatGpt had a couples/family plan, we’d ditch the extra on the Google One subscription for Gemini.
Please provide a family plan - I want to extend this to my wife and children. You can start with an extended quota that can be shared across the family members.
I completely agree! I would love for my teen to have access and be learning all the ways to use the solution but I don’t want to share a login as I am not comfortable with him seeing my previous chats (that are often about parenting and I don’t want to delete them). But the individual cost is too steep for me.
If a family plan is to be added, needs to be way more than the $20 is for individuals now. ChatGPT is getting ridiculously slow for the already paying customers (even at the pro level), if adding extra users for the same price, it would mean making it unbearable .
Can’t compare services like the ones mentioned above to an AI cost of service.
