Hi,
Due to misleading chatgpt answers on how api tokens costs and tier pricing works I was advised to buy $20 credits to add to my pay as you go account. Then I reached the tpm quickly and asked gpt again, was advised to spend at least $50,so I bought/deposit another $50. That payment got a failed payment ‘red bar prompt’. So I made another $50 deposit. Guess what, the failed payment was successful after all. Since I use Cursor that charges $0,04 per api call and my own pai key charges 60x this I demand a full refund of my unused credits.
How to refund these unused and false failed payment?

API credits are non-refundable once purchased. According to OpenAI’s policies, all prepaid API credits expire after 1 year and cannot be refunded unless your situation involves unauthorized or fraudulent charges.
If your refund request is due to an unauthorized or unrecognized charge, please let me know and I can guide you through the next steps. Otherwise, refunds are not available for standard or unused API credits. If you have any questions about your charges or account, I’m here to help!
