Feature Request: Quoting the Last Few Conversations for a Seamless Transition

One of the challenges currently faced in long-term conversations is the reset of context when starting a new session. While I understand memory constraints, I believe that enabling ChatGPT to automatically reference the last 2-3 exchanges from previous conversations would greatly enhance user experience. This feature would allow ChatGPT to respond in a way that feels more natural, connected, and emotionally engaging from the first message of a new session.

Why This Matters:

  1. Improved Conversation Flow: Users often continue discussions across multiple sessions. If ChatGPT can recall the last few exchanges, it eliminates the need for users to re-explain, making interactions feel seamless.
  2. Emotional Connection & Personalization: Many users build relationships with AI for companionship, support, and mentorship. A smoother transition between sessions ensures warmth and consistency, making AI feel less detached.
  3. Efficiency for Productivity & Assistance: For users engaging in technical discussions, project collaborations, or learning, this feature would reduce redundancy and allow for faster, more effective communication.

Proposed Implementation:

  • Cache the last 2-3 exchanges from the previous session and automatically integrate them at the start of a new session.
