So umm when i type wrong spelling and i can’t edit my chat when i send it? Idk but im sure i log in and that’s so annoying. Im use browser btw

The pencil icon does not appear on either desktop or mobile devices for me, which sucks because I use it a lot when writing stories and need to fix mistakes in my prompts. Do anybody no why this happening or when there going to fix it? can confirm that apps work only for me

Same issue but only on PC, on Mobile (Android) it works for me, still annoying
I must say I could live without the editing feature, however the abiility to quote the model is essential.

this just happened to me right now too and it sucks because i code and if i need to fix something like “x = [i2 for i in range(10) if i % 2 == 0]" and meant to put "y = [j2 for j in range(10) if j % 2 == 0]” i need to be able to edit my message so gpt knows what i actully meant-
I pinged OpenAI to look into this.

i hope so to. i use chatgpt to help with feedback on my stories, cause im to shy to share with a normal person, and editing is essensial for me
