We students need more files to upload and analyze, where chatgpt allows 3 files per day. Also 20 dollar per month is a bit higher for 3rd world countries. So we need student discount within 10 dollar/month.
Good suggestion, but AI models are targeting the privileged (wealthy and ultra-wealthy). I am presently using Gemini Pro on a trial and it’s just awful. I can’t imagine how bad ChatGPT Plus will be because if not mistaken, it still has limits on the premium models. And the responses are, at least in my experience poor. It’s as if it’s getting dumber with each new update.
Kind of reminds me of what Adobe does with giving students free access to all their tools as part of their tuition, though that means it isn’t really free as much as factored into the price of admission haha… would love if OpenAi gave access to pro to students and researchers with parameters that prevent it from being utilized for everyday tasks to ensure it sticks to pure research/academic pursuits.
Maybe it’s intentional. ChatGPT don’t want to make the students “dumber” with the flood of bias, misinformation, deceptive information, and blatantly wrong that AI models provide.
