Deleting Created Images isn't easy

Hello,

I’d like to suggest an improvement for image management in ChatGPT. Currently, in order to delete an image from the Library, users must delete the entire associated conversation. This feels limiting and impractical, especially for users who want to keep meaningful conversations while simply removing individual images.

It would be much more user-friendly to allow direct deletion of images from the Library — either through a “select and delete” feature or a simple trash icon per image.

Thanks for considering this!

I second this. My use case is when I’m iterating on an image and go back to edit an earlier prompt. In that case I wanted to remove all images below the restart point. Even though they are no longer in my chat, they are still in my Library.

Third this. I would like to delete created images as well as a Free user

Fourth this, I use it to generate art and tokens for my tabletop campaigns, and I’d like to keep specific pictures that are generated with multiple different modifications that I’d like to remove to get to the specific image to make it easier to organize and go through.
