99% of the time my conversations don’t require anything from the 4o, meaning that for every message that I send, I’m simply wasting resources from OpenAI by using the more expensive model for trivial questions, while also wasting my own credits to using it.
This feels just so weird. It would be great to be able to select the 4o-mini as the default for new chats, and then just change to 4o when I really need it.
Currently using AI Studio for reading attachments because I simply won’t bother to pay for plus if I’m going to waste all my credits with trivial questions, and then not have any while analyzing a big document or running out in the middle of it.
