I believe there is a bug, where custom MCP connectors are not exposed to the model anymore. Previously when they had to be manually enabled in the connectors menu, this worked fine. However, now that it all happens automatically, i noticed only the built in connectors are actually visible to the model.
Example below with my custom confluence connector.

I can second this, none of my client’s custom connectors show up anymore in their workspace. They show as connected in settings, but are not available to toggle on in the chat interface. Only the commonly available ones (Google Drive, etc.) still show up.
interestingly, today the manual “use connectors” menu has reappaered. but now custom MCP connectors aren’t displayed on that list

I’m having the same issue. I created a connection, enabled dev mode, but can’t enable the connection in chat. I added an n8n connection, but I cannot add it in my chats.

Having the exact same issue, I can add the mcps like normal but can’t select them in chat which renders them not functional

Weirdly around the same time that everyone else above has posted about issues, it has started working for me now. I wonder if there are differences due to geography (im in Australia, and i suspect the web servers are rolled out on different deployments for different regions, despite the models being all hosted in the US?)
same issue. Custom MCP connectors are showing but toggle button is greyed out. It was working last week but stopped working since last Friday.
Same here. Can’t use any custom connectors in chat.
It’s back for me, but it doesn’t work properly, ChatGPT still can’t call the tools from the connector.
Same error here, on the Apps and Connectors menu it list tools, but the model can’t reach the tools when prompted
This is working well for me now.
I can even continue a chat that had a network error and the tools will are available, which I couldn’t before.
