I propose a Context-Aware Intelligent Doubt Box for ChatGPT to make learning and research easier. While reading a ChatGPT response, users often encounter unfamiliar words, technical terms, or concepts. Instead of asking a separate question or leaving ChatGPT, users could simply select the text and choose “Ask in Doubt Box.”
The Doubt Box would use the selected text and current conversation context to provide an immediate, relevant explanation. For example, a student researching satellite imagery could select “semantic retrieval” and receive its simple meaning and its meaning in that specific topic.
The feature could offer Simple, Detailed, Example, and Technical explanations. The basic workflow would be Select → Understand Context → GPT → Explain, using existing AI capabilities.
The main goal is simple: resolve doubts without interrupting the user’s learning or research flow.
