Me too.. Suddenly openai responds with 500 server error I cannot login to the API Web Portal either. And gpt-realtime-api spits OpenAI response: https://api.openai.com/v1/realtime/calls (500) realtime/calls error body: retry_after=None body=Internal Server Error [FATAL] AI Session entered fatal error state: Failed to start AI session: Server error ‘500 Internal Server Error’

Everything is down apparently [image] from https://status.openai.com/

That’ll do it … I’m getting nothing on github → codex cloud/review codex cli ↔ github codex via chatgpt.com (work & chat) ↔ github Something definitely borked somewhere.

Thank OpenAI, I can lay down a bit :innocent:

[Screenshot 2026-07-25 at 11.40.35] Now that’s a very useful error code, thx openai

Has this ever happened before?? How long was it down the last time?? Anyone know?

It’s just backend problems. Got to wait until it gets solved.

Yes, this has happened, and it will get fixed. Just have to wait usually.
