I am still unable to access Codex Desktop because the sign-in flow requires verification through an old phone number that I no longer have access to.
This phone number was associated with my account in 2023 and is no longer in use. I can access my ChatGPT account normally, but Codex Desktop only offers WhatsApp or SMS verification to the inaccessible legacy number.
I have already contacted OpenAI Support. My case has been escalated to a support specialist:

This appears to be a Codex-specific authentication issue rather than a general request to change my phone number. Could you please help ensure that this case is reviewed by the appropriate Codex/Auth team?
I have attached a screenshot of the verification screen and can provide any additional information needed through my existing support case.
