Chatgpt4 stopped working with wifi and only works with data plan

Good morning, I have the gpt4 chat plus membership, for a few days when I log in with my Gmail account, interface loads, but as if it didn’t recognize my username, and every Every time I write I get the message: “Something went wrong. If this issue persists please contact us through our help center at help.openai.com.”
I have verified that it only happens when I connect to Wi-Fi but with a data plan it works normally. I already cleared the cache, I tried other browsers.

This report would be more useful for OpenAI with country, app version, device version, device OS and version, if you use the Google authentication to log in, or have your own email/password just for ChatGPT…

Perú
Web version in Windows 11 and Android 13
I tried in google chrome and edge last version
Google authentication to log in
I cant use chat gpt 3.5 and chat gpt 4.
I am paying the membership plus!

I’ve the same problem. While on WiFi I’m not able to log in to my ChatGPT account. There is no problem logging to the OpenAI account tough. Everything works fine while using data plan on my mobile. It’s Mac OS Sonoma 14.5, MacBook with Intel processor. The WiFi is Google Nest router, the internet provider is Orange Poland. Clearing cache, rebooting - nothing works. While on wifi I’m not able to use ChatGPT.

I have been experiencing the same problem. I am also a Plus subscriber. About six weeks ago, my Windows 11 desktop version of ChatGPT stopped working properly over WiFi (Spectrum with aprox 400 GHZ connectivity). On mobile, WiFi sometimes works but, to get complete results and avoid the error messages others have noted in this chain, I generally switch to Verizon 5G data plan. This is frustrating - especially when I am using ChatGPT for work projects where it is far more efficient to work from my computer rather than a phone. I too have tried all the recommended fixes with no improvement in results. Anybody have new thoughts?

The issue occurs because, for some reason/error, OpenAI blocked your IP. The solution is to ask your internet provider to change your IP address; usually, a reset from the central server (not your modem) will give you a different IP (unless you have a dedicated IP).

Alternatively, if you’re looking for another option, check out Gamsgo, where you can share ChatGPT access among three people at a lower cost.
