ChatGPT returning wrong timestamp?

Hi everyone,

This is my first message here, so I apologize in advance if this isn’t the correct way to post or if I’ve missed any guidelines.

I’m encountering the following issue (see attached image). Could anyone clarify if this is a bug or if I might be doing something incorrectly? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

For context: I asked CHatGPT what’s the timestamp for a specific date. Then I doubled checked the answer with an online timestamp tool, and found out that the right timestamp is a bit different.

I had a second conversation. I pushed a bit, and ChatGPT acknowledged that it initially made a mistake due to a ‘discrepancy in the original conversion method’.

In my experience, I wouldn’t trust ChatGPT about timestamps, and especially I wouldn’t trust it to know what time it is.
