I encountered a bug in the Project feature of ChatGPT desktop app. I noticed that when my teammate shared his own project to us, accepted it and we can now view the chats and all the shared context within that project. But the problem is its synchronization on the desktop app. Its currently not appearing, it only appears on the web. So basically the chat you have made on the project in web is not seen or reflected in the desktop app.
Hey nikkocausapin61 That does sound frustrating, especially after you’ve already accepted the shared project and can see everything working on web.
Shared Projects are supported in ChatGPT, and you can read more about how they work here: Projects in ChatGPT.
For now, using the web app is the best workaround since the shared project is showing there. We’ll pass along the desktop sync issue so it can be looked into.
