I am a user of the ChatGPT service and would like to respectfully request that you reconsider the current pricing model for the ChatGPT Plus subscription. At present, the subscription costs $20 per month for all users, regardless of their country of residence. Unfortunately, this universal pricing does not take into account the significant differences in income levels across various regions of the world.
For example, in countries with lower average incomes, such as Ukraine, this amount represents a substantial expense and may be unaffordable for many users — even those who are genuinely interested in using the platform to its fullest extent.
Beyond the social fairness aspect, implementing a differentiated pricing model also makes strong economic sense. More accessible prices in regions with lower income levels would significantly increase the number of paying subscribers, ultimately resulting in a net growth in revenue for OpenAI. This is a strategic step that promotes both equity and market expansion.
Therefore, I kindly ask you to consider implementing regional pricing or income-adjusted subscription models that reflect the economic conditions of each specific country. This would make access to cutting-edge technologies more equitable and would contribute to a broader, more diverse, and more engaged user base around the world.
