Some feedback and help please. I installed ChatGPT on my Win10 laptop August 18th 2024. It has functioned perfectly well till 18th September 2024. Am I correct in saying that ChatGPT should not work on Windows? If so, why was it perfectly functional for the last month? Puzzled

The login and signup buttons do nothing on this snapshot
using PF12 and console it reports this error
I no longer have any issues with functionality. A fix was put in place I believe and now all is good.

@stevezw - thanks - it turns out that ChatGPT is no longer compatible with some older Windows and browser combinations.
In the case of FireFox - 115.5 is the latest that will run on pre Window 10 and you can’t login to ChatGPT with that.
There is no announcement about this restriction nor minimum OS or browser versions [which there should be] and in any case it should remain compatible with older versions, at least to be able to login.
With any luck, with the information posted ChatGPT will provide a fix to make it available again to all existing users.
