I’m currently utilizing the GPT-4 Vision Preview Tier 1. As per my understanding, once the Requests Per Day (RPD) reaches 10,000, I anticipate encountering a 429 error indicating that the limit has been exceeded. My query is how I can seamlessly transition to Tier 2 in such a scenario? Specifically, if I encounter this error after reaching 10,000 requests, what steps should I take to switch to Tier 2 automatically? or how can I revoke to not change TIER?
Your transition to a higher tier depends on the money paid into your account. For example you should move up to Tier 2 once you have added at least USD 50 to your account and 7 days have elapsed since the time of payment.

On your related point: you can’t really revoke or manually change to a different Tier at the moment.
