Same problem! Glad to know it’s not just me though

Same for two people in my office, both use Chat GPT a lot for work purposes. I have cleared cookies and history many times, but it keeps hanging when trying to login.
I don’t understand why this is not an active issue being tracked by OpenAI

I just found this on another forum and it worked for me in chrome.

  1. Type in the address bar:
    chrome://flags/#enable-quic
  2. Disable Experimental QUIC protocol
  3. Restart chrome and try to login again

Thank you Profile - vladeto83 - OpenAI Developer Forum for this fix!

Here’s a Fix for a few different browsers. Worked for me

Google Chrome

In the browser address bar, type chrome://flags. Disable the Experimental QUIC protocol option.

Microsoft Edge

In the browser address bar, type edge://flags/. Disable the Experimental QUIC protocol option.

Mozilla Firefox

In the browser address bar, type about:config. Disable the network.http.http3.enable option.

Opera

In the browser address bar, type opera://flags/#enable-quic. From the Experimental QUIC protocol drop-down list, select Disabled.
