In December of 2024, I went onto chatgpt.com on my Iphone’s safari and asked ChatGPT some sensitive information using the “try it out” feature. I never logged in to any account. It appeared that by default, my prompts were NOT enabled to train their model as the toggle was constantly disabled using the “try it out” feature.
After doing the same thing now, the toggle is constantly enabled unless I explicitly turn it off.
Am I correct in that back in December, ChatGPT by default was not training on user data, or have they always been training on it? I am worried that what I asked back in December of 2024 will be used for training their models.
