ChatGPT Bugs On Saved Memory Feature

Thats true. But it would be better if we could talk to real people on their support not only ai sending messages

I understand your point, but expressing dissatisfaction, feedbacks and interrupting the financial flow is the only power the customer has.

I want to believe in the best, but it looks like these are just regular internal filters. It’s just that they also brought a bunch of memory bugs. a bunch of characters with a direct description were saved, I wanted to delete, structure, and add again. If there were no problems with this before, now even mild descriptions do not go through, although for many the system still gives a message that it has been saved, but the memory is empty. and the chat itself pointed out the new rules about character descriptions. it is a pity if there is no rollback to the old rules and memory. as for many, chatgpt was an excellent assistant in role-playing games, but without a normal memory, and with new stricter rules, when the system even more often swears at any little things and writes about the inadmissibility, the meaning of the subscription is reduced to nothing. I just wanted to say and know that at least I’m not the only one with this problem. I hope the meaning is clear, English is not my native language)

It is not about the app. Web or mobile. Does not matter. It is backend “issue”.

Is there any alternative LLM currently avaiable on the market which has more or less similair properties and is ‘‘Plug and play’’ like GPT and it’s internal memory function? I mean, i dont have the time, energy and money to make my own custom ‘‘AI lab’’ at home :')

I don’t think I know anymore AI other than Chatgpt with the ‘Memory’ feature

Please anyone tell me what is going on and i really lost the track

We are still discussing about Chat i think and memory

ChatGPT memory is in shambles 64 words max for 1 paragraph 31-36 words for multiple paragraphs and we users are angry at openai for being literally deaf and blind since this issue has been going on for 5 days.

So correct if I’m wrong, getting mixed messages.

So, and I’m being optimistic, OpenAI is still working on some kinks regarding some updates to the app, and the memory feature is the one getting hit the hardest.

So, we should just wait?

Here’s hoping

I’ve actually managed to summarize information for my creative writing down to 50 words to be memorized. Any more than that, and it won’t save.

That’s what I got.

Yeah it sucks for me max is 64 words 1 paragraph if i want more paragraphs only 36 words works if its more then the memory saves at one paragraph

It sucks. I hope it’s a bug and not a new limitation, otherwise ChatGPT loses all interest for me. Even 45 words isn’t working in a single paragraph

does this even mean something?

Lets say that openai wouldn’t do us like that. completely limiting a feature they invented + that lots of people use it? Nuh uh
