Bug
In the current app that I have on Windows, there is a significant bug with Markdown and LaTeX formatting. The ChatGPT website doesn’t have this problem for me at all and displays the formatting correctly, but the app’s message formatting is still broken.
Reproduction
Asking GPT-5.6 simple questions can trigger this issue. It doesn’t only happen with complex tasks. Even asking it something as simple as “What’s 2 + 2?” can cause formatting problems.
