Chatbots from multiple providers as a feature in Firefox now!

You can bring up a new in-browser sidebar in Firefox, just for AI. No more Bing Copilot only in Edge, only when logged in with a OS Microsoft account - whatever web AI service you want and subscribe to.

Claude, Gemini, Mistral, HuggingFace…and ChatGPT.

Only drawback is Tampermonkey doesn’t seem to hit it to make the user interfaces like I’d want.

(really, it’s just a new browser window, reusing your login cookies)

Is this like Chrome having Gemini Nano embedded in dev tools?

I’ll have to check it out.

Thanks for sharing!

New context menu

Launches ChatGPT with a prompt to do the task from the list on the selected section.

No more forum robot needed.

The prompts have some breadcrumb in about:config, but the prompt language and ability to config more functions seems out of user-land. They will be localizable. Firefox no longer allows original keys to be placed in about:config that could drive more prompts.

Ooh even better than sticking it in Dev Tools.

A local model running through Firefox would be kinda sweet, though…

Did you have to turn it on yourself? Gonna check here in a bit…
