The previous UI allowed users to switch between different regenerated versions of the same prompt. This was incredibly valuable for creative writing, editing, coding, and comparison workflows. The current retry/branch behavior does not replace it because branching splits the conversation and makes it harder to compare versions quickly. Please restore the version toggle or add a visible “View previous generations” option.

Thanks for sharing this feedback. I totally understand what you mean - the old version toggle made it much easier to compare responses quickly without splitting the conversation into branches. That’s especially helpful for writing, editing, and coding use cases. I’ve shared this with the team.
