I deleted my API keys, and I’m still getting charged by the minute. Definitely a bug from Open AI. Best bet is to remove payment details until they fix it.

Same here. I thought it was embeddings because I saw a spike on a day where I processed a few PDFs into a vector DB, but now (days later) it’s still happening.

Over the last four weeks, we have observed an unusual increase in costs within the “Other models” category, and we are unclear about the reasons behind this surge. All three of our organizations have noted this cost increase since the same date. Could you please help clarify what this usage entails?
I have reviewed everything and rotated the old keys but couldn’t pinpoint the “Other models” usage. I learned from support that the “Other models” category typically includes Whisper, TTS, Embeddings, and Fine-tuned models. However, we are only utilizing Embeddings, and I can see its usage reflected in the chart. We are still uncertain about the “Other models” category, as we are incurring significant daily charges. I kindly request that you investigate this matter as a priority. I am facing challenges in getting specific updates from the support through email and live chat. Is there any enterprise support option available so we can raise the request? We need to sort it out with high priority.
The abnormal usage in the “other models” category has stopped since September 10, 2024, following the creation of new project API keys and the deletion of the existing user API keys.
Hi, I’m experiencing the exact same issue and have incurred over $330 dollars in the past 24 hours for unexplained usage, even after deleting and creating new API keys.
I suggest follow-up the Open AI support and get this resolved.
From my side, I talked with the support and rotated the existing user API keys with project API keys. The support team should be able to assist you.

I had a very similar issue 2 days ago. I had a $120 limit on the API usage and it blew passed it to $340 when I managed to delete all keys and bank details.
I sent all the info to the Help Centre chatbot ut even after 48 hours I still have no answer.
Did anybody here get an answer and resolution to this problem?
