Probably thousands of people who encounter an annoying audio bug with ChatGPT (voice mode) under Android 12 and older version since 1 YEAR !
= either the sound is VERY BAD as it goes through the call speaker instead to go to the media speaker or chatGPT can’t connect to external bluetooth device
Does someone has succeed to launch an audio call of chatGPT app through is PC using a virtual Android environment or something like that ?
The only goal is to find a work around to this audio bug that is currently sitting in the top 30 of the most answers with hundred of people who report the same issue until today (1 ENTIRE year), the bug HAS NEVER BEEN SOLVED
Turning off bluetooth IS NOT a solution and it doesn’t solve the issue of using an external bluetooth device (speakers, headsets)
And yes, if you using Iphone or a newest version of Android (13 or 14) you don’t suffer of it, same with a few lucky one under Android 12 but with special surcouche provide by the phone manufacturer who had fix the issue of the bad coding of the Android ChatGPT app…
This bug affect probably hundred of thousands of users around the world (those who are on Android 12 and older version) since the voice mode has been release last year!
OpenAI, you just have 1 thing to fix in the code of the app to sort out the problem for Android 12 users, this problem IS ONLY present on the ChatGPT app = Gemini Live works fine, Pi works fine, Whatapp works fine, etc. every app works fine except chatGPT…
I’d love to be more explicit to express how frustrated and annoying this bug is by using an other kind of language but even here, it seems the guardrails are strong
