Atlas update broke the pointer cursor on links

After updating ChatGPT Atlas today (Nov 6 2025), the cursor no longer changes to a hand (cursor: pointer) when hovering over links or clickable elements. The issue appeared immediately after the update and is reproducible on multiple Macs. Click actions still work normally — only the visual cursor feedback is gone.

Environment:

  • macOS version: 15 (Tahoe) 26.0

  • ChatGPT Atlas build: latest (updated Nov 6 2025)

  • Devices tested: two Macs — identical result

  • Connection type: local (desktop, not remote session)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Update Atlas to the most recent build.

  2. Open any chat or webpage within Atlas.

  3. Hover over any link, button, or interactive element.

Expected result:

The cursor changes to the pointer over interactive elements.

Actual result:

The cursor remains as the default arrow, even though the element still responds to clicks.

Same here, Atlas Version 1.2025.302.4 (20251105014700000) (8bcc607f8a)

Same issue here. Hope they fix it soon.

I believe this is not only a cursor-style regression. Many Chrome extensions that rely on combined mouse + keyboard interactions also stop working inside Atlas. Two examples I’ve personally confirmed:

  • Immersive Translate: key-modifier + hover events do not fire at all.

  • Linkclump Plus: key-modifier + mouse drag over multiple links fails to trigger bulk-open behavior.

Both extensions work normally in Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers. The failures only occur within the current Atlas build.

Same on Version 1.2025.302.4

Same here. Version 1.2025.302.4 as well.

Update to Version 1.2025.309.3 (20251113004245000) (615ba647c5) today, the issue remain exist.

This problem has been solved since the Version 1.2025.316.6 (20251118220536000) (04c5c2678f) released.
