Assistants disappeared from Playground

Hi everyone! I’m experiencing an issue where about five important assistants suddenly disappeared. Does anyone have any ideas on how I might be able to recover them? Unfortunately, I don’t have backups of the instructions. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Are your threads also gone? What happens when you try to create a message using the assistant ID?

There’s a lot of strangeness going on right now so I wouldn’t try anything crazy besides reaching out to support.

Yikes.

It may just be temporary. In the meantime hopefully you can piece it back together through some logs?

But yeah, nothing that can be done besides reach out to support. OpenAI staff aren’t very active here besides a couple of their threads.

Same. Suddenly multiple Assistants that I use in production are no longer found in my dashboard and are not available via API.
11 were deleted in total.

Does anyone know how to recover their assistant? I’ve been trying to get help but only receive automated responses from the OpenAI support team. Any guidance would be appreciated!

Hey all! @stevecoffey here from the OpenAI Eng team. We believe this to have been the result of a bad change which caused some percentage of reads to fail for assistants objects. We’ve rolled back and some customers have confirmed that their previously invisible Assistants are now visible again.

Please chime in if you are still observing issues!

This does seem to have resolved the issue.
FYI, we had approximately 50% of ours disappear.

I have a repo of all my assistant configs, instructions, and files for just this reason.

My assistants have disappeared, as well as my billing information. I hadn’t been in my dashboard for about a month. To make matters worse, I started getting several new charges from OpenAI on the credit card that I used to have in the billing profile even though I haven’t been active in the API for weeks.

Hello, My assistants disappeared form playground but they are visible from make com.
Also my usage information, billing as well.

I want to make changes on them. No button to create new. just a white page.

Any information how to recover?

Same here - in Make its still available but I cant see them any longer. What can we do? Any update?

I have the same issue. My files are still visible in storage but my assistant has disappeared!
