I added a new file to my Assistant and clicked Update. The change is reflected when using the Assistant on the ChatGPT website but not when accessing it via the API.
I am testing the API via a sequence of curl commands. Is there something I need to do to get the API to update?
Whenever I visit the edit page for the GPT, it always shows “Updates pending”. If I click Update, that message goes away but when I return later it’s back.
I think you might be confused. Because a Custom GPT isn’t connected to the API at all. Did you just make two separate things that are similar so that you can put the assistant version on your own web site?
Maybe when you even look at a GPT it records something to update, or it is just a bug if it works just fine.
