All of the apps in the settings modal are no longer visible. This means I can no longer refresh my app when I make changes in developer mode. It also means I can no longer delete apps.
I am able to create new apps but that is not sustainable long term.
This seems to be happening to a coworker as well in a totally different account so it does not seem to be a local issue.
Same. This screenshot is from my personal Plus account. I cannot see the apps I’ve connected, therefore I cannot refresh what I’m actively working on in Developer Mode.
Edited to add: I already tried the standard troubleshooting steps… No browser plugins are installed, I cleared cache, I logged out and back in, and I logged in via a browser I’ve never used ChatGPT in before. Still can’t see my connected apps.
I am also using a Plus account. The help support chat bot its telling me Plus accounts do not have developer mode supported.
"On Plus (personal workspace), the Developer Mode + full MCP app management UI (including the “Refresh” actions button) isn’t supported, so that control can disappear even if you still have an old deep link.
To get the Refresh flow back, you need a Business / Enterprise / Edu workspace with developer mode enabled, then use Workspace settings → Apps → (your app) → Action control → Refresh (Business note: published apps can’t be updated in-place—changes require recreate/republish)."
Is the issue still persisting? Can someone please confirm if the issue is still ongoing on their end?
If you are still facing this, could you please check your network logs (HAR) and the browser console, and let me know if you are seeing any error messages (for example, a 401)?
My apps settings are also restored in the apps panel, so I can disconnect refresh actions again, and I now see a new Drafts section at the bottom. The Drafts section is confusing because it shows the local build of the app I’m working on, which also appears in the Enabled apps section.
So, it’s also my assumption that OpenAI temporarily broke this popup while they were rolling out changes to the Drafts section etc.
Could you share a bit more about what you’re seeing? I agree the flow could be made more intuitive, but I’m curious what specific blockers you’re finding to adoption.
We have a Business account and the custom application being created and published by the administrator of the account is not avaiable in the apps list of members. Therefore, no one can use that app/connector.
Hey @OpenAI_Support Yes this issue is persistent and is even happening with me . This is the exact issue -
On Business and Enterprise plans, the designated Workspace Specific tab in the App Directory is missing. This prevents users from independently finding and connecting internal apps to their chat window, despite the apps being enabled for the workspace by an administrator.
When a non-admin user attempts to access the App Directory via Settings → Apps → Add more, they are shown the directory window containing only public categories (Featured, Lifestyle, Productivity). The absence of the “Workspace” tab means no internal, published apps are visible.
Since all roads lead back to this disabled path 404 Page, the user is unable to click the necessary Connect button to add the app to their personal workspace. Because the app’s connection page cannot be found, and the user is blocked from adding the internal app to their chat. Even though it is visible in the “Enabled” tab in the workspace app setting.
Moreover the “Add” section in the custom connectors is buggy and redirects back to the chat window rather than allowing to add the app .
Everything was working fine around 2 weeks back but something broke post that
