All Apps Have Disappeared From Dashboard

All of my apps are gone from the dashboard, including the ones that are in review and including one that has already been approved.

Also for me, the app that was under review disappeared today, and I can’t create new apps. It seems like a broader issue that may be affecting others as well.

It started last night, about 12 hours ago more or less.

Hi,

we’re seeing similar reports in another thread. Could you check your browser’s Network tab and confirm whether it shows the same 403 error?

Missing scopes: api.apps.read

There is no error, the dashboard is just blank. I have one app already live and approved, and 7 pending review.

hi vb,

this is what i see on …/v1/dashapi/apps

{
“error”: {
“message”: “You have insufficient permissions for this operation. Missing scopes: api.apps.read. Check that you have the correct role in your organization (Reader, Writer, Owner) and project (Viewer, Member, Owner), and if you’re using a restricted API key, that it has the necessary scopes.”,
“type”: “invalid_request_error”,
“param”: null,
“code”: “missing_scope”
}
}

We are facing a similar issue.
Even as an Organization “Owner” I am not seeing any of our submitted apps in the Dashboard

Same here, no idea what is going on, the app we were developing for days suddenly disappeared, and I also can’t create another apps. I asked the ChatGPT person responsible for Apps, about this:

It’s an error on ChatGPT’s end, it should be fixed, as per X’s post

Hi OpenAI team,

We had submitted an App on 1st April 2026 and we have been eagerly waiting for it to get approved after the review. Today morning we checked the dashboard and our submitted app has completely disappeared from the dashboard, I’ve attached a screenshot of the empty dashboard with the web console open.

Please help us resolve the issue and review and approve our app as soon as you can :slight_smile:
We are looking forward to launching our app in the ChatGPT App Store.

Thanks

Same here - it’s been more than 24 since we lost our apps in the dashboard!

I submitted my app to ChatGPT Apps while I was on a Plus plan, and it was under review at the time. However, during the review process, my account was downgraded to a Free plan.

When I had the Plus plan, I could see my app listed as “under review” at:
https://platform.openai.com/apps-manage

But now, when I go to that page, my submitted app has disappeared, and I only see the option “Create and publish a new app.”
Also let them know that I have re-subscribed to the Plus plan, but my app is still not visible in the Apps manage page.

It’s an error on ChatGPT’s end, it should be fixed soon!

How do you know it will be fixed soon? Have you seen an announcement?

Hi all, thanks for flagging this! Will share with the team and dig in.

Hey Corey - thanks for flagging this. Is the chatGPT app store moving forward, or should we expect a discontinuation, similar to SORA. @coreyching

Totally get the confusion here, a 401 on something that should just load is pretty jarring.

This was tied to a platform issue affecting app visibility, not anything on your setup. Good news is it’s already been mitigated and things are recovering now, so you should start seeing apps load normally again.

If it’s still showing a 401 on your side, try a quick refresh or re-login. That’s helped a few folks while things settle.

You can also keep an eye on updates here: status.openai.com

Shout if it’s still happening for you.

Hi there! I’m a (newish) member on the Apps developer platform team on ChatGPT. We took a look and believe the issue should be resolved now, please let me know if you run into any further issues. Apologies for the disruption.

I can confidently say we’re investing heavily in the apps ecosystem :slight_smile: We are sprinting to improve the experience of authoring and improving Apps, and I’m more than happy to take any feedback and thoughts you have on it!
