Approved app got removed after the "App image is not authorized" bug, please restore it

Hi @martinauyeung,

we build the ChatGPT app billiger-mietwagen.de. It was reviewed, approved and live in the directory since June:
https://chatgpt.com/apps/billiger-mietwagen-de/asdk_app_69fa018bf85c8191b81a11aa33734c84

On Aug 14 we submitted a bigger update for review. For a few days we heard nothing. On Aug 20 we checked the account and ran into the image bug from Approved app can’t be published or drafted — 400 "App image is not authorized", composer icon endpoints 404 (400 “App image is not authorized”). Shortly after that the approved app was gone from our dashboard and the listing was gone from the directory. We never published anything.

We already went through support (case 13696800). The answer was basically “resubmit and wait”. We did that and nothing has happened since. Meanwhile we lost a listing that already had users, and people who had added the app to their accounts lost it too. That hurts us as a business.

What we’d really like is to get the old app (asdk_app_69fa018bf85c8191b81a11aa33734c84) restored. Nothing about the live version had changed. If restoring is not possible, could you expedite the pending resubmission like you offered in the thread above?

Thanks,
Marcel

Thanks for reaching out. If your ChatGPT app submission was rejected, please reply directly to the rejection email you received and include a clear explanation of why you are appealing, any new information that may help the review team, and your submission Case ID.

If you have addressed the review feedback, you can update and resubmit the app through the OpenAI Platform Dashboard. You can review the official submission guidance here: Submit plugins | OpenAI Developers

Please do not post passwords, OAuth credentials, API keys, access tokens, private review details, or personal information on the public forum.

Thanks, but this doesn’t apply here. The app was never rejected, so there is no rejection email to reply to. It was approved and live, and disappeared after the image bug on Aug 20. Support case 13696800 confirmed the resubmission is “In Review with no active errors”. We’re asking for the original listing to be restored, or for the pending review to be expedited.
