Learn that if OpenAI is offering an API product for you to develop on and grow a customer base, they’ve got a better product for someone with a billion dollars.

I don’t think we as developers are learning much from this news. But I do hope Apple makes AI as an interface more popular among investors and product owners. I foresee a further raise in investment in AI assistants among software developers, and another push for the growth for the LLMOps field.
Meh, more cheesy marketing pulp.
Wait til it tells you to eat rocks.
Let’s hope it will tell people to eat more apples instead.

I expect there to be much more information regarding the partnership and it’s impact on developers over the coming weeks and months.
I also expect it will be a fantastic opportunity for devs to build tools and applications under the Apple eco system. The Apple userbase has traditionally been heavily loaded with early adopters and expendable income, so it should be a fun marketplace.
