As far as I can tell, the new ChatGPT App’s popout window currently only creates Work/Codex tasks. I’d love an option to use it for a regular ChatGPT chat as well, similar to the chat bar in the older classic ChatGPT app, especially for quick one-off questions. It would be helpful if the popout could let me choose, or remember a default for Chat, Work/Codex, or Temporary Chat. Also would be great if it could use the same “work with application” features that the old chat bar had.
I 100% agree with this, and I have talked with others who feel the same way.
I beg developer to fix this, I need a shortcut for everyday questions… I don’t want to ask Sol on high reasoning for a crêpe recipe inside one of my projects.
