First, to be clear, while I am a pro user, I pay for the API.
When I use the API, it returns version 3.5 results. I did notice in openai’s documentation that version 4 is only available to people who have paid more than one dollar, and I have. But I’m still not getting it. Any advice?

You need to specify the model you’d like to use, in your case it’s gpt-4-1106-preview or gpt-4
I’m actually using it with the TextGenerator extension in Obsidian. You enter your API key. I can’t see what’s under the hood, but I can select model versions, and other users report v4 working for them. Thank you.
