I am thrilled about the release of the DALL-E 3 API! I’ve already used the API hundreds of times since it was made available. However, I am very disappointed that the seed value feature was not released.
From what I understood while watching OpenAI’s promotional video for “DALL-E 3 with ChatGPT,” the seed value feature seemed to be a significant aspect of this model. Having both the seed value and the ability to turn off the automatic prompt rewriting function would allow for easy fine-tuning of creations, making it much simpler to achieve the intended results.
Why was the seed value feature not released? And is there any plan to make it available in the future?
