Hi, I’m having a problem with tools on the Android app. On web, I can use GitHub and other tools without any issues. But on the Android app, inside the same account, the only external app that shows up in the tools menu is Canva, even though GitHub is connected in my settings.
From my side, it looks like my account-level connections are fine. In Settings → Connected apps, GitHub appears as connected. On the web version of ChatGPT, I can open a chat, pick GitHub as a tool, and access my repos normally. On Android, though, when I open a chat and look at the tools/apps list, I only see Canva there. I tried reconnecting GitHub, clearing cache and data, and reinstalling the app, but nothing changed.
I’d like to understand if this is a mobile limitation, a per-chat tool configuration issue, or a bug. Is there anything I can do to make GitHub appear and be usable as a tool in Android chats the same way it works on web? If needed, I can share screenshots of:
- Connected apps page showing GitHub as connected
- Web chat where GitHub works
- Android chat where only Canva is listed in the tools menu
