It often happens that I send GPT a document or ask to review a web page, and then have a bunch of instructions given to it to refine its understanding of this documents or pages, with the sole purpose to then query it.
This happens on multiple documents or pages of the same type (could be accounting stuff, payslips, contracts, receipts). The annoying thing is having to repeat all this context all the time in a new chat.
It would be super valuable if we could create (via the desktop app) a repeatable pattern, where by we can instruct GPT on how to behave for a specific type of repeatable task, and once instructed, we could always access it and have it behave in the same way.
GPT Plugins used to do that, but the way you interact with them seems less fully featured now.
Also this is custom, it should not be about generalising a specific task, but rather making it user specific, so the user gives instructions, tailored to its document / use cases, and the AI is able to repeat that thereafter and allow for edits.
This is where AI shines compared to standard software, which struggles to make sense of the vast variability real world case scenarios have!
