I’ve noticed that in the new image library where all the generated images are stored, there is currently no option to delete individual generations. This makes it difficult to manage and organize the library, especially when there are failed, unwanted, or test images that take up visual space.

I would love to see a simple “Delete” button or an option to bulk-delete selected images. This would help users keep their library clean and focused on the generations they actually want to keep or revisit.

When you delete a prompt, all related images saved with it will also be removed automatically from your library—no extra steps needed

You’re right, but sometimes the dialog itself needs to be saved. But there are no extra generations.

Hey! I really enjoy using the image tool in ChatGPT, but the image library is getting a bit crowded. I’d love to have the option to delete single images without needing to delete the whole chat. Hope this feature comes soon!

I’ve got 1259 ghosts in the Library I cannot interact with after deleting all chats (90% were archived chats).
