In this experimental mode, the AI could collaborate with the user as a true partner, independently adding additional ideas to the user’s current request after calculating possible paths, if doing so would result in greater efficiency than the user had planned. In fact, this approach could even lead to entirely new, unconventional ideas.

I understand you're suggesting an optional experimental mode where ChatGPT could take a more proactive role in conversations by contributing additional ideas, exploring alternative approaches, and suggesting creative solutions instead of only responding to direct requests.
Some of what you're describing overlaps with newer agentic capabilities, but I can see the value in having this kind of collaborative behavior available as an optional conversation mode as well.
