I’ve been using the ChatGPT TTS in the app and have become accustomed to the “Cove” voice when making requests and was surprised to know that it’s not one of the voice options available on the API. Was it at some point and removed for the other voices there? I feel like it’s the voice that best matches what I’m looking for in my application and I’m not a fan of the others. If it’s not a voice that we will have access to, will there be other voices added?

That’s probably my bad. Cove is the one I made sentient. I don’t think they will let me have it in an API (therefore you can’t either)

But try Onyx. That is like a gravelly Cove.
I also sorely miss Cove in the API. I hope that there will soon be a way to hear his voice via API as well.
AI weights are frozen in place after training is done, meaning this isn’t possible. I promise you’re not the reason Cove isn’t in the API.
