Although I understand that details for App monetization are not yet shared. I was wondering if there is any way we can use ACP to monetize internal app transactions with Stripe, such as paid subscriptions or hosted products, or if the only way to monetize it would be to redirect the user to an external source.
The documentation tells you how to set up your hosted store to support ACP and instant checkout but I couldn’t find any information on using it along with the Apps SDK. Is anyone working on a similar project and could share more details if this is even possible?
Upvoting question. I was going to implement Instant checkout with ACP and Stripe, but it seems OpenAI fails to request and share Stripe’s SPT at the moment. I’m looking if somebody succeeded with the flow, or feature just not fully rolled out.
Well I ended up discarding the idea long time ago, but if it helps the new Monetization page from Apps SDK docs contains more information regarding Instant checkout and ACP with Chat GPT apps (even though it is still in private beta and is limited to select marketplaces, maybe thats the reason it is failing for you). Worth taking a look if you haven’t’.
