Hello everyone, just have one quick question. I have $10 worth of OpenAI credits, but I’ve been unable to use the Agent Builder without verifying my account and I would like to know why.
Why exactly do I need to verify my identity to use the Agent Builder’s Preview feature? The exact error message I get is “Run preview is unavailable for non-verified organizations. Verify your organization to use.” But when I try to verify the organization, I get told to take a photo of my government ID.
I don’t want to do this because I distrust age verification and I don’t want to send a photo of my government ID to OpenAI or Persona. So, how can I use Agent Builder without verifying my identification? And, if I can’t do that, what other steps can I take to build AI agents in a graphical way?
Why does OpenAI block even streaming of an AI output for an allowed model, or deny receiving reasoning summaries if not verified.
The only explanation is that they have a profitable relationship in forcing acceptance of this service: gathering identities where they can offer quality multi-angle video imagery suitable for facial recognition training, labeled with a very real invasive scan of a government ID, to an organization that can trace its funding rounds back to Thiel’s capital group, also a principal investor in Palantir, providing extra-judicial identity products to the government.
Just want to say I really appreciate your prompt response - thank you for that. With that being said, does that mean that it’s impossible to use Agent Builder without verifying my identity, and I should try something like n8n instead?
The beauty is they don’t even have to provide you anything - you can be failed out of the service with “expired” and no remedy, yet trying to verify another organization with your ID shows that your information has been indeed captured and persisted by this company withpersona.com, with no right to forget in compliance with laws. 90 days before you could verify another organization, even if it might work later.
With the OpenAI service requiring the org ID verification - a real person required for what may be a business entity or a corporation, either you submit and have success…or you design your own agent block builder as a product or employ a third-party service. Sorry.
Set “ChatGPT Agent” loose on finding you other providers…or as a developer, just chain API calls naturally with your own pattern of orchestration, specializations, tool resources.
