Tab groups currently don’t work well when scrolling tabs are enabled. Normal “new tab” opens a tab to the left of other tabs, but “new tab in group” opens the tab all the way to the right. Both “new tab” and “new tab behavior” should be the same when scrolling tabs are enabled. I got really used to the scrolling tabs feature before the tab groups were introduced and I’d like to keep using it as it was intended. There could also be some keyboard shortcut for the “new tab in group”.
