Before being reverted to a boilerplate plaintext error page, I was able to intermittently see the placeholder UI for ChatGPT, but of course, nothing would load on top of it (chats, suggestions, account charm, etc), if that helps anybody. Best of luck to the OpenAI team in bringing it all back online!

To everybody asking for an ETA, be patient. From what I can tell, the team is actively taking care of it and has already gotten ChatGPT and the API partially back up.

I thought Iâd chime and thank you guys for all the hard work. ChatGPT has been an invaluable tool in my studies as Iâve gotten pretty good at prompting it to act like a TA, so I thought Iâd create an account today on the forum to spread the wealth as itâs perfect timing to do so.
Weâre not sure. The status page has been updating rather frequently, so itâs likely a large outage that theyâre working to fix.
Welcome to the community, by the way! Sorry itâs under such terrible circumstances, but weâve got a great group of people here (and some bots here and there probably lol), so weâd love for you to stick around whether youâre into ChatGPT, the API, or anything AI related.
By the way, I tried to do an AI summary of this page, and guess what?!! 
But yeah, once youâre a member and âlevel up,â you get access to some sweet AI tools here. But, as I said, itâs really about the people weâve gathered over the years.

Honestly, props to OpenAI keeping it up so long without issues. Iâm so curious what happened on the backend as they usually seem to keep everything together, so it has to have been something unusual.

Guys I have image analysis course have exam in a few hours and we are allowed to use AI for the first time, and now ChatGPT is down WHAT. Normally it does ALWAYS work why is this happening at my exam day. Please I am in tears. Chat staff when do you expect to fix this? I have plus membership Thank you
I finally decided to pay for chatgpt plus, as soon as I finished transaction advanced voice stopped working. The next day I tried to give sora a try, nope it wouldnât allow me to try sora. Just got on here to see if advanced voice would work for me now, nope nothing works? What is open AI doing for paying customers? The service is not being delivered at all? When and if anything works it seems a lot like Iâm just getting scraps of inference?
