I’ve been experimenting with trained models in the Photo Realistic Image GPT function. Twice now I have received an image completely unrelated to my prompt, of young ladies in unusual clothing. Is it just me?
GPTs in ChatGPT (where I’ll change this to the correct forum category):
- Not “trained models”.
- Just an AI following some instructions.
- That another ChatGPT user made, with unknown and perhaps dubious skill.
- Currently still use the legacy DALL-E 3 image generator instead of the new Image Gen of a normal “new chat” with ChatGPT.
DALL-E is certainly outclassed in the “photo-realistic” department by the new image generator.
The AI model used by GPTs is also dumb enough to not follow a decided GPT effort to create an application that will GIVE those ladies on the second turn instead of what the user requests…
So you probably want to just go to normal ChatGPT and press the “images” button.
DALL-E seems recently to have basically been re-built with a face-mangler. I don’t see how anyone could offer a GPT there called “Photo-realistic” or not off-putting.
Never one to shy away from difficulties - I just had to make the GPT purpose to always prank the user with these influencer ladies that have taken over the GPT. It’s published with a less deceptive name.
Concerns
I noticed that the default of create a GPT even when not pressing “share” is to publish to the GPT store: and thus you give up all licensing of contents to OpenAI unexpectedly under the terms.
