I’m laughing because I recently discovered a ton of people are now rallying (as of at least August) to prevent google bard and chat gpt from using their websites for training or even just browsing to answer questions!
They’re using robots.txt settings to block it. The way I see it, it’s like rallying to prevent google spiders from crawling your site!
Sites and users that encourage it will become a bigger part of how AI thinks! 
Hands are extended to them to be part of the future, and they slap them away!
It’s their right, after all! How ironic that by acting with contempt toward innovation, they lock themselves out of part of the future dialogue they were invited to join 
The question for Webmasters is thus: What do you care more about? Ad revenue, or spreading your ideas?
