A few weeks back, I reached out to OpenAI Support with a simple but very real user need — the ability to pin important chats.
Like many of us, I use ChatGPT for long-term work: business ideas, research, and ongoing projects. Scrolling through dozens of chats every time was breaking focus. Pin Chat wasn’t a “nice to have” for me — it was necessary.
Recently, the Pin Chat feature is live.
Seeing a user suggestion turn into an actual product feature feels incredibly validating. Huge appreciation to the OpenAI team for listening, passing feedback to the right teams, and shipping something that genuinely improves day-to-day workflow.
This is a great reminder that thoughtful, clearly explained user feedback does make a difference.
