Unable to stop chatgpt both in plain chat and reasearch

Seems like a regression, at least for plain chat.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start a new chat and ask some questions.
  2. Ask a simple question.
  3. ChatGPT answers in the first sentence or so, then goes on to explain things I don’t need (e.g., things I already know). This is still fine.
  4. I click the STOP button. It stops, but…

Now I cannot continue the conversation. I have to click Re-generate and wait for it to finish. I don’t have time for that.

A similar issue happens with research, but worse, because reasearch takes longer to complete… Maybe I’ll report that separately.

Seems to be fixed now :blush: (I can stop the chat and it doesn’t require re-generation)
