The ChatGPT/Codex macOS desktop app does not conform to macOS’s Icon & widget style > Tinted appearance. The app uses a custom Dock tile plug-in and its own light/dark icon resources instead of tint-compatible macOS app icon assets.

Request: please ship tint-compatible macOS app icon assets, or update the Dock tile plug-in so it respects the system icon appearance modes: Default, Dark, Clear, and Tinted. This would improve visual consistency with macOS Tahoe-style icon theming.

We’ll send this to the team for logging: support tint-compatible app icon assets, or update the Dock tile plug-in to respect the system’s Default, Dark, Clear, and Tinted appearance modes.
